While on patrol, a deputy checked a suspicious 1997 Dodge Ram truck that was parked along the side of the road in the 13000 block of Industrial Parkway. After further investigation, a vehicle occupant, Jacob A. Morrow, age 29 of Chillicothe, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail, and a report was taken, #22-0526.

Deputies responded to US Route 33 near Brock Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that struck a deer. A crash report was taken, #80-22-279.

A deputy met a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Anthony B. Frierson, age 31 of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Barker Road for a person having a mental health crisis. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital and no report was taken.

A deputy responded to the roundabout on State Route 161 at Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Subaru Legacy that was struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander. The driver of the Toyota, Stephen A. Vivian, age 69 of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way and a crash report was taken, #80-22-280.

Deputies went to a residence in the 13000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive to arrest William D. Fordyce, age 35 of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and later released on bond.

A Union County Deputy met with a Franklin County Deputy to take custody of Christopher S. Hodges, age 38 of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A Union County Deputy assisted the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Bokes Creek Township Fire Department with a barn fire in the 2900 block of County Road 125 in West Mansfield.

A deputy responded to US Route 33 near Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado that was struck by a 2011 Honda Pilot. The driver of the Honda, Britania M. Bechtol, age 42 of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes. A crash report was taken, #80-22- 281.

A deputy investigated a dispute between a vehicle owner and a towing company over a vehicle that was towed out of a crash that occurred in the 21000 block of State Route 245. No report was taken.

A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the US Route 33 off ramp to State Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Subaru Impreza and a Hyundai Sonata. The State Patrol investigated the crash.

Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department and the Northeast Champaign County Fire District responded to the intersection of Middleburg Plain City Road and Lincoln Road for an injury crash involving a 2015 Honda CR-V that was struck by a 2014 Mazda 6. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Mazda, Jonathon A. Charley, age 22 of Plain City, was issued a traffic citation for improper passing. A crash report was taken, #80-22-282.

A deputy was dispatched to a school in the 11000 block of State Route 38 to investigate a property damage crash involving a Honda Pilot and a Buick Lucerne. No report was taken.

A deputy responded to a business in the 11000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Ford F-150 and a 2017 Toyota Corolla. No report was taken.

A deputy was sent to a residence in the 33000 block of State Route 37 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis. No report was taken.

A deputy responded to State Route 31 near Rushsylvania Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Ford Taurus that struck a deer. No report was taken.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 7200 block of Lilac Drive to investigate a trespassing complaint involving two neighbors. No report was taken.
