The American Foundry and Manufacturing Company, of St. Louis, Mo., has issued a new catalogue of over 200 pages, designated as No. 36, of water, gas, plumbing and hardware specialties. The book, neatly bound in cloth, is profusely illustrated and contains over 1,700 items, among others being American service boxes, American repair covers, meter boxes, valve boxes, city water slip boxes, corporation stop cocks, Siamese connections, fire hydrants, gate valves, hose nozzles, hose valves, underwriter expansion couplings, underwriter floor flanges, water connections, water cranes and water main fillings. In the book is a number index. The American Foundry and Manufacturing Company was formerly the Pleuger & Henger Manufacturing Company and has an extensive factory at Tenth, Eleventh, Hebert and Wright streets.
