12:20 p.m. Thursday: 200 block of 10th Street, Worthington, ambulance request for adult female who passed out.

5:22 p.m. Thursday: Dundee, adult male fell.

10:59 a.m. Friday: 1400 block of College Way, Worthington, ambulance request for adult male.

WPD: crash without injuries, 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, 1300 block of Humiston Avenue.

WPD: crash without injuries, 2:03 p.m. Wednesday, 1000 block of Ryan’s Road.

NCSO: crash, 2:34 p.m. Wednesday, 190th Street and Durfee Avenue, Adrian. Adrian Ambulance and Lismore Rescue were paged to the scene.

Minnesota State Patrol: crash with injuries, 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, Minnesota 23 and 181st Street in Pipestone County. John Todd Georgeff, 69, of Emery, South Dakota, was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram north on Minnesota 23, and Carlton Ellis Womack, 37, of Houston, Texas, was driving a 2016 Kenworth Semi north on Minnesota 23. The vehicles collided on the wet roadway. Womack received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Pipestone County Medical Center. Georgeff was uninjured. Both wore their seatbelts. Georgeff’s airbags were deployed. Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Pipestone EMS and Holland Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.

Minnesota State Patrol: fatal crash, 5:54 p.m. Wednesday, Interstate 90 near mile marker 46 in Nobles County. Three vehicles were heading east on I-90, and power lines had fallen across the wet road due to the thunderstorm. Diego Alvaro Campos, 37, of Chile, who was driving a 2021 Chevrolet hatchback, stopped to avoid striking the wires. Jaskaran Singh, 26, of Ottawa, Canada, was driving a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia, and collided with the Chevrolet. Tyler Gilbery, 23, of Tea, South Dakota, was driving a 2009 Pontiac G6, and collided with the wires. Gilbert, whose airbag did not deploy, received non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to Sanford Worthington Hospital. Singh, who was wearing his seatbelt and whose airbag did not deploy, was uninjured. The Chevrolet’s airbags did deploy. Campos, who was wearing his seatbelt, received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Worthington Hospital. He had three passengers — Martha Lillian Llanos Rodriguez, 30, of Mexico City, Mexico, who was wearing her seatbelt, was killed in the collision; Bradford Scott Barrett, 42, of Annapolis, Maryland, who was not wearing his seatbelt, received life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Worthington Hospital; and Aldo Alberto Viscarra-Avilez, 33, of Chile, whose seatbelt status is unknown, received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Worthington.

Iowa State Patrol: fatal head-on crash, 12:37 p.m. Thursday, Iowa 9 and K60/Indian Avenue. Carol Jo Fliear, 71, of Matlock, Iowa, was driving a 2016 Ford Taurus eastbound on Iowa 9, while Gregory Marvin Krieger, 64, of Sibley, Iowa, was driving a 2007 Freightliner semi westbound on Iowa 9. The preliminary investigation shows that Fliear’s vehicle crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and collided head-on with the semi at the intersection of K60. Fliear was transported by the Lyon County Ambulance to Avera Rock Rapids, where she was pronounced deceased. Both individuals were wearing seatbelts. Krieger declined treatment. The crash was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Department of Transportation CMV division.

WPD: hit and run, 2:56 p.m. Thursday, 1200 block of Oxford Street.

WPD: hit and run, 12:38 p.m. Friday, Ninth Avenue and Ninth Street.

WPD: crash in parking lot without injuries, 1:10 p.m. Friday, 1300 block of Ray Drive.

WPD: crash without injuries, 3:14 p.m. Friday, 500 block of 10th Street.

6:48 p.m. Monday: 27170 U.S. 59 (Worthington Ag Parts), combine fire in the lot, Worthington Fire Department dispatched to the scene. According to Fire Chief Pat Shorter, a parts combine on the lot caught fire as workers were in the process of removing the engine with a torch. The combine sustained substantial damage, and a combine parked to the south was also damaged. Crews were on the scene for about an hour.

3:04 a.m. Wednesday: Minnesota 91 and a private road, Ellsworth, report of a negligent fire.

Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: arrested Russell Severson, 46, of Inwood, Iowa, Sunday, on a mittimus out of O’Brien County, Iowa.

Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: burglary, 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, northwest of Larchwood, Iowa. The burglar had fled the scene upon the arrival of law enforcement, and at approximately 10:15 a.m. the suspect was seen walking near the residence. After a brief investigation, Ricky Lee Blekestad, 41, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was arrested for burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, theft in the third degree, an aggravated misdemeanor, possession of burglar tools, an aggravated misdemeanor, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, a serious misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor, and trespassing, a simple misdemeanor. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations.
