A massive fire broke out in a motor vehicle showroom located near the Basistha area of Guwahati on Wednesday. Fire engulfed the Benelli & Isuzu showroom and resulted in a property loss of Rs 4 to 5 crore.

However, no human casualties were reported in the accident.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Isuzu cars worth at least Rs 1.5 crores were burnt, while Benelli bikes worth Rs 6-7 lakhs were gutted in fire. Totaling with the property loss, we hit a Rs 4-5 crores loss, said Sales executive manager, reported news agency ANI.
