An Aberdeen woman was killed in a head-on collision Thursday morning on N.C. 22 after her vehicle went left of center and struck an oncoming truck, N.C. Highway Patrol said.

Ksenia Manzo, 18, was traveling north on N.C. 22 toward Carthage in her Nissan sedan when she veered left of center, a report from the Highway Patrol said. Her vehicle struck an Isuzu landscaping truck that was traveling south on N.C. 22 near the McCaskill Road intersection.

Southern Pine Fire and Rescue was the first on the scene and pronounced her dead at the scene.
